IU Mental Health Resources

Overview

As Mental Health Chair for my sorority, I designed the Mental Health Services at IU poster to inform and support the campus community, reaching over 200 members and the broader student body.

Key Design Elements

  • Eye-catching visuals: A brain-and-nature motif to symbolize growth, healing, and resilience.

  • Clear hierarchy: Contact info for services is prominent and easy to find.

  • Approachable tone: “It’s OK to Not Be OK” headline encourages openness.

Skills Demonstrated

  • Graphic design and layout strategy

  • Health communication tailored to a college audience.

  • Balancing aesthetic appeal with practical clarity.

Why It’s in My Portfolio

This project reflects my ability to use design as a tool for social impact—translating important mental health resources into a format that is engaging, accessible, and actionable.
